SONG Liangang is an associate professor and academic adviser for the Master of Laws in the School of Humanities at BUPT. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil and Commercial Law at China University of Political Science and Law. He was a visiting scholar in the Law School at the University of Michigan. He currently serves as a council member of Legal Education and Research in China Law Society. He is also a legal consultant for Beijing Municipal Education Commission and its working committee. His main research areas include the theory and practice of commercial law and debt law. He has published a number of academic papers in law journals such as Politics and Law Forum and Law Application and People’s Court.
