【同义替换】scenery, landscape, view, scene, sight; future, promise

integrity

【例】We should preserve the nation’s territorial integrity firstly.我们必须首先保持国家领土完整。
【构词】integr(完整)+-ity(性质，状态)→完整
【真题】Yet these creatures are members of the biotic community and ,if its stability depends on its integrity, they are entitled to continuance.
然而，这些生物是生物群落的成员，倘若生物群落的完整性决定其稳定性，那么它们才有权利继续生存下去。
handicap
v.妨碍，使不利 n.缺陷，残疾;障碍，不利条件
【例】Poor eyesight may not be an insuperable handicap to a student.视力不好对学生来说或许不是一个无法克服的障碍。
