一、名词单复数使用错误
误：People who saw that was astonished.(was-were)
分析：people是集体名词，指“人们”时本身是复数概念，当“民族”讲时，有复数形式。类似的词还有staff, police, cattle等。
误：Our work shop has ordered some new equipments from Japan.(equipments-equipment)
分析：equipment是不可数名词，无复数形式，类似的词还有advice, information等。
二、介词用法错误
误：Children get used to ask help from thei rparents when they come across difficulties. (ask-asking)
分析：在复习考研英语时，同学们常常一看到to就联系到动词不定式，忽略了to的介词用法，此处to为介词，后面跟动名词。这类易混淆的动词短语还有be accustomed to doing ,adjust to doing, object to doing等。
三、冠词使用错误
误：Cultural fusion,thus,has to be accepted b yawide variety of the people.(去掉the)
分析：people作集体名词可单独出现，表泛指。如果加the，意思是“人民”。
四、副词使用错误
误：Once he took the vow,hi sloyalty wavered never.(waverednever-neverwavered)
分析：程度副词、频率副词在修饰动词时，一般置于动词之前。这类程度副词有fairly, pretty, rather, almost, nearly, deeply, partly, perfectly等;频率副词有 often, always, frequently, seldom等。
五、常见搭配错误
误：The teacher provided us knowledge.(providedus-provided us with)
分析：provide sb.with sth.是固定搭配，意思是“给某人提供……”，后面的介词with不能省略，同学们经常误用如spend, bring, set等动词的搭配，平时一定要注意积累哦!
误：Because the vast cooperation with western countries, people's living standard raises quickly.(Because-Because of)
分析：because of后面跟名词，because后面跟句子。表原因的短语，如because of，dueto, thanks to, as a result of, on account of等，以及表目的的短语，如soasto, in order to等，一般均以固定搭配的形式出现，对这些词大家要重点记忆。
